Our Candela e-Matrix Sublative Skin Resurfacing treatment is excellent for skin of any color and has very little down time or disruption of daily activities. This exciting skin resurfacing treatment that has been FDA-cleared to tighten loose skin, reduce mild to moderate wrinkles, and improve the texture of the skin. Sublative technology uses a combination of IPL (intense pulsed light) and bipolar RF (radio frequency) to penetrate the skin’s deeper layers. When the skin heats, it produces fibroblasts which then signal the body to create new collagen, which smooths cellulite and tightens the skin.
This treatment targets mild to moderate wrinkles, acne scarring, pore size, and skin texture. Our E-Matrix Sublative Skin Resurfacing treatment includes the application of Tri-Complex Dual Effect Filler Serum which is a non-invasive alternative to dermal fillers. How do I know if I need Facial Rejuvenation?
Our Facial Rejuvenation treatments are for those who would like to improve wrinkling and sagging of the skin, reducing pore size appearance, diminishing acne scarring, as well as minimizing superficial skin pigmentation.
Younger looking, healthy skin comes down to the number of proteins (collagen, elastin, etc…) within the skin’s layers. These proteins are vital for preventing wrinkles, lines, and stretch marks. When our bodies age, there is less protein production. Skin resurfacing with Sublime is FDA-approved to stimulate the skin to create more proteins, more specifically, collagen, to produce a more youthful, natural appearance.
What are the risks and side effects?
The procedure can be mildly uncomfortable. If you are quite sensitive, you may chose to use a topical anesthetic to ensure comfort throughout the procedure which can be purchased for $7.

What benefits can I expect?

How will I look after the treatment?

How does the device work?
The Candela eTwo offers both Sublative Rejuvenation and Sublime Skin Contouring treatments to reverse aging.
The Sublime treatment uses the combination of light energy and radiofrequency energy to deeply heat layers of the skin while protecting the surface of the skin simultaneously. Medium to deep heating of the skin activates fibroblasts (deep skin cells) signaling new collagen to form and existing collagen to tighten, which will occur over a 4-6 month period.
The Sublative treatment uses radio frequency to deliver an effective but controlled fractional treatment. Each pulse delivers the energy via a grid of matrix spots on the surface as well as just under the surface. Fibroblasts (skin cells that produce collagen) are activated within the treated zones signal collagen to regenerate and remodel, yielding improved skin tone and texture. The surrounding tissue of the untreated areas support and accelerate the healing process of the skin.
